The Small Business Committee is dedicated to helping small and medium-sized businesses thrive in Henderson County. Through monthly seminars, workshops, and programs like the Business Success Contest and Pitch Parties, the committee provides training, networking, and advertising opportunities to strengthen local businesses. Led by Chair Boaty Alexander, the group celebrates small business achievements with events like Small Business Week and the Blue Ridge Business Growth & Rising Star Awards. The committee also partners with organizations like SCORE, BRCC, and Hatch WNC to offer valuable resources and support for entrepreneurs. By promoting local shopping, fostering innovation, and recognizing small business leaders, this committee is a vital advocate for the success and growth of Henderson County’s business community.
